FlexiBorder is a flexible, durable, eco-friendly lawn edging made from 100% recycled tyres. Paired with FlexiCorner, you get a complete edging system — this guide walks you through fitting both, step by step.
Two parts, one seamless border
Both products are made from old, destroyed tyres - far stronger than plastic edging and endlessly recyclable, making them a genuinely eco-friendly choice for your garden.
FlexiBorder
1m lengths measuring 100cm long, 8cm wide with an 8cm upstand. Each metre weighs 2.6kg and includes five ground pins and two joint pins. Flexes to a curve of up to 70°.
FlexiCorner
Pre-formed 90° corners for crisp right angles FlexiBorder can't make. Sold in packs of two with four pegs and four connectors, in all five FlexiBorder colours.
Inside vs Outside corner
FlexiCorner comes in two shapes. The one you need depends on which way your border turns around a bed (outside) or into an alcove (inside). Here's the difference at a glance.

Both are available in black, grey, brown, terracotta and green, so FlexiCorners blend seamlessly with FlexiBorder.
Fitting your border, step by step
Follow the sequence below. FlexiBorder runs and FlexiCorners fit the same way — we've slotted the corner in exactly where you'll reach for it.
Lay out your edging
Position the pieces along your line first to check you have the right amount and preview the finished shape. Keep the pegs beside each section so you don't lose them — spare pegs are available if you need more.
Dig out the border
Each section is 8cm wide and 8cm deep, which tells you how far to dig into the soil. Prefer not to dig? Simply lay the border where you want it and fix it down with the colour-coded pins supplied.
Place the border
Once you're happy with the depth, lay the FlexiBorder in place. If a piece is too long for a space, don't worry — it cuts easily. Just use a saw to trim it to your measurement.
Secure it with pegs
Fix each section down with the nylon pegs included in your order, tapping them in with a hammer. On curves, some people prefer to peg as they go — whichever method suits you works fine.
Connect one section to the next
Slide a compact connector onto each of the pre-drilled holes to join two lengths. The connectors are included in your order and create a seamless, secure finish along the run.
Turn a corner with FlexiCorner
Reached a 90° turn? Drop in a FlexiCorner instead of forcing a bend. It fits exactly like FlexiBorder: choose an inside or outside corner, connect it to your run with the four connectors, and fix it down with the four pegs supplied — tapping each peg into the soil with a small hammer.
If a peg ever breaks
Pegs are tough nylon, but a hard object underground can occasionally damage one. Clear the obstruction and try again. Each peg is 16.5cm long for a secure fit, and spares can be ordered any time.
